Hi, I'm wondering if there's a plugin, or way of creating a filter and applying it to all the emails I have registered in my thunderbird (I have more than 100) so it would be a really slow job if I do this manually...

Thanks for any help, I couldn't find that in Google.

Filters apply to the inbox and the sent folders, so you can filter those folders only.

Hi Matt. Thanks for reading and replying.

I understand what you say, but it doesn't answer my question.

I want to apply that filter to all the emails registered in my thunderbird, I know it only applies to the inbox and sent folder, but how can I apply it to ALL the emails?

You can't.

You can run filters on any folder, but they will only run automatically on the Inbox. The manual method is done by opening Tools/Message Filters, selecting the filter(s), then 'Run selected filters on' and choosing the folder, then Run Now. Obviously, this is not very efficient for hundreds of folders, but it's the only way I'm aware of. If possible, it would be better to define a filter for all these messages before they were moved to the folders.
