Happened acutely about a week ago. Not in relation to an update; updated today and didn't fix it. Screen cap below. Default language is English, spell checking is English, it seems that just the dates are not? Screen cap below.

Never mind, fixed my own problem. It was actually a bizarre language issue in the date and time section of Windows. Voruba? Never heard of it, but it's fixed.
