When on a web page or e-mail I regularly get a spinning multi colored ball which stops/interrupts the loading of the page. It will last for 3/4/5 seconds and then stop. What's up ??

I’ve been a big fan of Firefox for a long time—it’s always been my go-to browser for its features and reliability. However, I’ve recently run into a puzzling issue.

I launched a website to help people:

• Check their LESCO bills online
• Explore criteria for a LESCO new connection
• Estimate their upcoming bills
• View their bill history from the past 12 months, and more.

While my site works perfectly on other browsers, it seems to load slower on Firefox, especially on certain pages.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

• Checked for broken scripts
• Cleared the cache
• Disabled some add-ons
• Unfortunately, none of these have resolved the issue. 😓

Has anyone experienced slower loading times on Firefox for specific websites? Could it be something related to my site’s configuration, or is there a particular Firefox setting I should tweak?

I’d truly appreciate any advice or troubleshooting tips. While I can’t share my site’s link here due to community guidelines, I’m happy to drop it in the comments if anyone would like to take a closer look.

When on google.com, clicking the search engine gives the error "Uncaught Storage mechanism: Quota exceeded", of which this does not occur on other browsers.

HI! I have my phone synced to my destop firefox, and just synced my laptop, microsoft windows 11.

everytime I want to access a synced page, like gmail, or my trading brokers page, it asks me to login again, so its synced, but have to relogin every time I open the firefox browser, or even when I simply close the tab. I never have to log in repeatedly on the desktop.

Also, my favourite extension Tab Stash, is missing features in this firefox browser. I have tested everything to get it to work, including clearing the cache, restarting. normally you can right click a firefox tab like the attached image, and choose "open Tab Stash in a Tab". and other options. but they dont show in this synced version of the browser. Very weird and frustrating. I must get this to work as I manage hundreds of saved tabs and folders through Tab Stash which is only available on Firefox.

I dont know how to contact the extension creator, I cant see any contact link on his gitHub.

I have tried multiple media players and I have the same issue with all of them

Whilst playing a downloaded video - as soon as I open a new window to perform a search - the video stutters and the playback is slurred for a couple up to several seconds

Started on VLC so I tried PotPlayer instead same issue

Is there any way to move the download thing to the bottom like it used to be in old Chrome? Just gave up on that PoS after 20+ years, it keeps being updated by windows 10, but I know nothing about Firefox.

    Also, is there a way to set it to auto open zip or rar files when I download them? That would bypass the problem of wanting to move that stupid tiny arrow.

Find that at each update, the Startpage search engine is re-installed WITHOUT my permission. I understand startpage can be defined as a PUP, and I don't trust it. The most aggravating thing is that installing add-ons and extentions without users' permission is unconscionable.

Would like to know if there is any way I can block the reinstallation of this at each update.

I am a linux user.

I updated firefox yesterday. I am using several profiles for my convienience, and exactly one (1) lost its ability to create new history, all the saved passwords, and all the plugin data. Along with the message "another application is using firefox file", which sadly give no useful details about anything.

I have done a backup of that profile, and poked a bit at it ; all files seem here and are apparently correct. In particular, login.json is not corrupted, and I could add new passwords, which would appear in that file, but the 100+ passwords that I had before are invisible

I have tried to see if firefox give any useful logs, but found none both on command line and in journalctl. Do you know how/where to find out what firefox don't like in the profile files ?

I would *very much* like to not lose my passwords and login so it's my main area of concern.

My laptop had broken and I had to reinstall Windows. All of my files had been lost on the C drive, including Firefox bookmarks. Sadly there weren't any backup json files anywhere else. Is there a way to recover those bookmarks somehow?

Hello, Very exited to see thunderbird coming to android but I cannot sync all my mails.

I am using posteo and I configure several filters from the posteo website itself so my computer and my phone sort the mail the same way. I don't have any trouble with thunderbird on my computer but thunderbird on my phone only download the mail which are not filters when I ask to check for new messages. I have to go to every folders which are present on my phone and drag down to sync each folder one by one.

Do you have a solution to receive all mails at the same time ?

I have many emails on one domain and thunderbird names them all the same
