How to get my bookmarks from old firefox to the new one?

Been pulling my hair out over this. Forced it seems to upgrade firefox so fine. I finally did.

Mind you I'm using an old imac running high sierra. IOS 10.13.6

I GOT firefox ok, but the prompt to import bookmarks showed me every OTHER browser on my computer except my old firefox where all my bookmarks ARE.

I found instructions such as.... (this is one of many, none helped.)

copy; Old firefox version 1) Right click top right menu icon 2) Bookmarks > Manage bookmarks 3) Import and Backup > "Export Bookmarks to HTML...

Right off the bat, Right click TOP RIGHT MENU ICON.

I DON'T SEEM TO HAVE ONE OF THOSE! What "menu icon" are they talking about???

There IS a hamburger, (the three bars) icon, and under that is bookmarks and manage bookmarks. and past that is a short list of SOME of MY assorted bookmarks, but NO WHERE TO BE FOUND is any export, back up, import or any such thing.

I found earlier (and can't find it now) instructions on location through my mac library folder (there was a path to that I forgot now) but once I got where that set of instructions led, it did NOT give me anything to save, export, copy paste or any such thing. Useless waste of time.

I have been rebuilding a few of the ones I kept up in the toolbar ONE AT A TIME.... painfully, especially things I have to log into means RE logging in all over. ROYAL PAIN this is.

This upgrading nonsense is so frustrating. I put it off until I absolutely have no choice. THIS is why.
