Web-Based Program Loading into Address Bar Upon Firefox Opening

The URL ... https://mytravel.state.gov/s/ ... loads into my web browser each time its opened. I don't know why it does. I did have an issue with passport renewals but that issue is now closed. Why does this US government site continues to load is beyond my me. Suggestions? P.S. I did read your Firefox Troubleshooting Articles that mentioned clearing the cache ... I think this is solution but how to clear my browser's cache?
