I have several folders to save e-mails to within Thunderbird, as historian to an association I would like to be able to save and thus back up a folder with >9,000 e-mails in it. How can I do this please?

Threading has suddenly returned.

It has caused my mail organisation much grief in the past and I need to turn it off totally and permanently.

I am on Thunderbird 128.5.2 on Linux Mint 22.

Assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

I am a trader, and I use Firefox for my trading activities. I frequently open TradingView charts and also use my broker’s trading app on the web. However, when I open charts in TradingView and my broker’s platform using Firefox, I experience significant lag, especially while scrolling. This issue happens on both platforms and severely affects my trading experience, making it difficult to analyze the market properly.

I am using Windows 11 (Version 23H2) on a laptop with an Intel i5-11400H (11th Gen) processor. Despite having a powerful system, the issue persists, indicating a potential compatibility or performance problem with Firefox.

Please look into this problem and provide a solution as soon as possible. I would appreciate any guidance on optimizing Firefox for better performance while using TradingView and my broker’s charting platform.

We have 1000 clients network and most of the clients having thunderbird installed (latest version) and configured , since last few months we started getting complaints that some of the local folders not showing their content mail in the system , we tried to repair folder does not work, we tried renaming .msf does not work.. when we see the some of the local folders mail they appear in the list but if you try to open it it opens blank and after trying troubleshooting steps thoes mails getting disappeared.. please assist..

I hope someone can help here. I have used Tbird and FF almost exclusively from release. Thundebird is my only email program and the whole thing is playing up badly at the moment. I can send no emails. Some emails that show in the inbox show a blank screen and can not be deleted. All messages I send come back with an end of message error and SMTP blocked (see attached). This happened a few weeks ago and my email sourse gave me some new settings using port 587 and it worked ok until a few days ago then exactly the same again. They have checked and everyting works ok for them. I then checked with BitDefender to see if they could assist and everything was as expected so I did a complete computr scan with it and it came back with 3 trojan errors all of which were in Thunderbird. So I decided to do a complete delete and reinstall. No matter what I do or what I deleteincluding shutdown after every delete, when I reinstall it comes back with the total and Faulty Thunderbird So I can't start with a clean sheet. Not that I would like to as I have hundreds of contacts an email saves going back many years. Suggestions anyone

I have created an email account-- *Email hidden for privacy*@outlook.com -- I can receive email in it when using outlook but not when using Thunderbird. Any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?

Some emails with graphic links do not open the website in your browser. Instead, the cursor changes to a "zoom/unzoom" icon, and that's what it actually does, zooms and unzooms. I've found this with emails from different sources, both for .png and .jpg images. But those same emails when viewed in a web-based client, the graphic links work correctly as expected. What's up with Thunderbird? Platform: Win11 Home latest, Thunderbird 128.6.1esr (64-bit).
