I have a new computer. The receiving page for the email messages has changed dramatically. Instead of the page being divided in two where the messages were shown across the page in an upper box and the text was shown in the lower box - it is now so squished that It is not a pleasure to read them. All the emails are listed, in bold, one after the other in a column that is perhaps three inches wide and goes on forever. The column on the right shows the message. Is there any way to change this and bring it back to what it was?

I am getting the following notification: Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent-sgolight@earthlink.net. What is happening? How can I get back to normal?

Please tell me how I can remove this message. I have never seen it before and now I cannot read e-mails after 8/2/25 (I have been away for a few days).

I have tried to send myself a test message today but it will not go. I have tried cleaning out my mail server mailboxes but this has no effect. Running anti-virus software has no effect either.

I have suddenly started receiving this message when trying to send emails. They are just plain emails with no attachments. Thunderbird is not "getting" any emails either. I did not change 'ANYTHING' in Thunderbird; it just started happening. I've tried the possible solutions I've found on line but haven't solved the problem. I'm using Windows 11 and Network Solutions email.

Could you elaborate how I can delete mass email contact that I NEVER want to save, but you save them.

I have 4000 email saved? WHAT???????

I need to mass delete them, it makes me really hard to organize my work.

I want to do this years ago and unable to find an effective way to do, it keeps building up!!!

I have an address book set up with First name, Last Name, email address. When I start typing a person's name in the 'To' field of a new email it only displays their email address. Can I have it display the 'First and Last' names instead?

I have moved my domain from one.com to dreamhost.com. I use the same email as I always have: me@mydomain.com. When I send mail using the thunderbird client on my windows desktop, I get this message: >>> from Postmaster <support@one.com> This is the mail system at host send.one.com. I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. <<<

I assume there is still a setting that uses 'send.one.com', but I cannot find it. Who can help me out?

No one has replied to any reports I have submitted about the Thunderbird Crash. Internet rumors are saying that Mozilla has abandoned THUNDERBIRD for something else. I want my email to function like it had before.

hello I am running thunderbird under linux mint. recently upgraded to the lastest version of linux. restored my .thunderbird DIR and everything works however its been crashing.

i found the crash ID. Crash ID: ⁨bp-027d32f5-5c07-4a04-8d14-6e4870250103⁩ is there anything else i can provide for assistance?

Email crashes every day when I first open it. I'm using the beta version of Thunderbird and have been for years and not had a problem like this. It automatically submits a crash report but nothing ever changes. Help?

For a few months now I get a Send Message Error whenever I try to send an email from one of my addresses (see first screenshot below). I've checked my SMTP server settings and they all seem to be correct. (2nd and 3rd screenshots). I'm using the latest version of Thunderbird on Mac OS 15.3 Sequoia. I have no firewalls. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?
