I can't save my homepage. Whwnever I set a new homepage and restart firefox, it will show the old homepage. I tried to uninstall and refresh firefox already.
I reset my homepage several times but it just doesn't stick. Even I disable every extension, the homepage still cannot stick. My firefox current version is 39.0. I tried to uninstall and refresh firefox but still the same thing.

There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
