Mozilla VPN allows you to connect automatically on startup as a way to ensure that your internet connection is always protected when starting your device. To enable this feature, follow the steps below.

Warning: The Connect on startup feature is only available for Windows, macOS and Linux. To manually enable the Connect on startup feature on Android devices, follow the steps under the Android section of this article.

How to automatically launch your Mozilla VPN on Windows, macOS and Linux

  1. Open Mozilla VPN.
  2. Click the settings icon vpn settings icon.

  4. Select Connect VPN on startup.

  5. The next time that you start your device, Mozilla VPN will automatically connect to the last server location you used.

How to automatically launch your Mozilla VPN on your Android device

  1. Open the Settings app (typically a cogwheel icon) on your Android device.
  2. In the settings search bar, type VPN.
  3. Select the VPN result.
  4. Select the gear icon next to Mozilla VPN.
  5. Toggle on Always-on VPN.
