Welcome to a new version of Firefox for iOS (version 102). This release comes with the following improvements and features:

Remove items from Recently Visited on your iOS homepage

You can now remove history items from your iOS homepage. Long press an item and tap the fx icon cancel download Remove icon to remove the specific page and all of its related metadata from your history. Learn more about clearing your browsing history in Firefox for iOS.

View top search highlights when starting a query in the search bar (experiment)

When you tap on the search bar and start typing, you may see the top three history highlights that are related to your search query. Search highlights will show after search suggestions, tabs and bookmarks.

Bug fixes and enhancements

  • The Inactive Tabs section will now open as expected if the last non-private tab becomes inactive.
  • The Synced Tabs list has been redesigned to add favicons to each list item. Additionally, each list per device is now collapsible.
