When visiting a certain social networking site on my laptop with firefox i noticed while scrolling down the font size got smaller. This has recently happened again and the txt is now just about legible.. The font sizes on all other websites visited are fine and normal but everytime I log into Facebook the text now remains the same smaller font.

Make sure that you do not press the Ctrl button while scrolling.

You can set the mousewheel.withcontrolkey.action pref to 0 to perform a scroll.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily.
