Only on Firefox when going to web sites my cursor continues to flash with the timing circle flashing and page loads slow, Windows 7 pro. Why?
An example of my question: I click on a link in an email and Firefox starts to open the page but the cursor starts flashing with the timing circle going around. The page does not load or loads very slow. This also happens when I go to a site on Google. I've tried the above in IE and Chrome and this does not happen and the pages open quickly.
Thanks for a good produce and finding my answer.

Hi captainbill, Thank you for your question. I have also noticed this on my home profile.
I can explain the google search, each link that is clicked on a search result sends a bunch of information to their analytics, which is why you might see a google url when you click or hover at first. For a quick second it will do this then change to the url that was displayed in the results.
As for the program opening up when Firefox is set at the default browser and you are opening a url from another application, I have seen this to be an issue if there is also a slowness when you open up Firefox regularly. But forget the blah blah, how to fix it.
- Quick fixes if your Firefox slows down and Firefox takes a long time to start up
- How do I turn on the Do Not Track feature? - helps with Google searches also clearing the cache more often.
I hope this helps, what were the results?
Thank you for your reply. However, this does not solve my issue.
A bit more information. Clicking on a link in email [Google or other] the timing cursor continues to flash and circle' [never stops]''''. I'm running WIN 7 pro on a Dell laptop that is basically idealing [not over loaded verified by Task Manager].
