Wednesday 21st October 2015. I can't get Firefox page up-it shows Google Search but then default Firefox notice comes up asking for me to restore .Pressing "restore" brings back message that proxy settings are "wrong"??? This has happened to me before but I'm sure I went into Firefox opening pages's Help but the tool bar is not showing or?? do I go into the computer control panel?

Thursday 22nd October 2015 Hi-problem now solved Thank you. I managed to get my tool bar back using cursor to bring it from top of page and right clicking in a space of the tool bar-then clicking on the "unhide toolbar" box. Regarding the opening page-I'm not sure what I did but Firefox seems to have reset and I'm ok now. Regards Topcatmax.

Do you mean the window to restore the previous session that you get when Firefox didn't close properly the previous time or do you always get the previous session?

Can you attach a screenshot?

  • Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
  • Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
