The connection has timed out
The server at www.pcdatravel.gov.in is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Would you try this please :
3-bar menu => Options => Advanced => Network tab
Under 'Connections' click 'Settings'
click 'auto-detect proxy settings for this network'
Any difference ?
I have the same problem. It could be a website problem.
Also see :

If none of the above make a difference :
Let's try Firefox in Safe Mode :
If Firefox is not running :
Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.
If Firefox is running :
3-bar menu => ' ? ' (at the bottom of the dropdown) => 'Restart with Add-ons disabled'.
Then OK the restart.
A small dialog should appear.
Click 'Start in Safe Mode' ( not 'Refresh' !)

Are you sure that URL is correct and shouldn't be :
If you are able to access the site in some other browser please check carefully the site address that that browser is using.
Please let us know what other browsers work.
Are you able to try with both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. (IE should be the default browser on a Windows 7 System)
I think we may be struggling to work out whether this is a problem
- With your Firefox - Others in this thread also seem unable to get to the site.
- A more general problem with the website.
- Or Firefox in general.
And then again : The correct URL just might be :
(Thank you John99, for pointing me in the direction of India !)
