when i open an email to read, there is an advertisement sentence. i am unable to see what someone has written to me. how do i get rid of this ad that is there. and how can i read my email that has been sent.

Firefox doesn't do email. Is that happening with Gmail?

If so, try disabling Adblock Plus, if you have that extension installed.
If that solves you problem, try updating your Filter List subscriptions.
