Following "Reset Firefox printer setting directions, go to about:config, type pint.print_printer, no such file exists, What Now?

pages print correctly in Internet Explorer, but only blank pages produced by Firefox 8.0.1. Trying recommended fix. No file to "Reset". Do I need to uninstall & reinstall or can Firefox be repaired?

print.print_printer not pint.print_printer

this preference is missing in Firefox profiles where you've never used the printer

correctly typed print.print and still no print.print_printer file showing

upgrade to 9.0.1 and see if this solve the problem
