Hello All,

Once again my bookmark folder contents disappear shortly after a restore. I had exported them to Chrome a few days ago, and am able to import into Firefox but they disappear soon after the import. the bookmarks remain intact in Chrome so not sure why Firefox is having an issue. I have completed the suggested places.sqlite rename, discontinue sync (on all other devices), and still not fixed. Had this issue almost exactly a year ago. Coincidence?

What about the rest of your profile? Settings, bookmarks, history, passwords . . . .

Sometimes when the browser thinks there is a problem with the profile, it will create a new one.


Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.
