How do I access my account data?

You can access your MDN account at https://developer.mozilla.org/. Click on your profile picture in the upper right hand corner.

How do I update my account data?

Log in to your MDN account at https://developer.mozilla.org/.

From the login page, follow these steps:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the upper right hand corner.
  2. Choose Edit Profile from the dropdown menu. This will load your account preferences and allow you to edit them.

Note: You can update your primary email address, but this won’t change the GitHub profile linked to your MDN account.

How do I delete my account data?

Log in to your MDN account at https://developer.mozilla.org/.

From the login page follow these steps:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the upper right hand corner
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Click Delete Your Account at the bottom of your profile page.

The account deletion page gives you three options for deletion and retention:

  • “I haven't changed any pages; just delete my account.”
  • “Keep my attribution for my page changes; delete my email address and freeze my account so I can't ever log in again.”
  • “Switch all my attributions for page changes to ‘Anonymous’, and delete my account.”

If you happen to pick option #1 but have actually revised MDN pages, we will contact you to and ask you to choose one of the other options.

How long do you keep my account data?

We keep it for as long as your account is open, unless you choose to delete it.
