Set new account inbox location to Local Folders
I had to create a new e-mail account and I would like to have the incoming messages automatically go to the Inbox in LocalFolders. Right now the messages go to an inbox associated with the new account. How do I change the default location for the new account? I am running Thunderbird 52.3.0 (64-bit) on Fedora. I have found some posts that talk about it but description of the pages does not fit my version.

Is the account you have created IMAP (global inbox not available) or POP (global inbox available)
I have several e-mail accounts. All are POP accounts. When I try to change the destination in the Message Storage settings in the Server section of the account, I get the message that the location is already used in a different account. I have an account called Local Folders which is where I would like all of the incoming messages to be stored rather than separated by account.
Sorry for the late response. I changed e-mail providers and forgot to change the address here. It has been changed.
The account is an IMAP account. How do I use Local Folders for this account?

You can not.
The closest to a unified inbox is the unified folder view.
Appmenu > folders > unified.
