Ctrl C and Ctrl V option do not work for a draft email. I would like to save same email template in the draft so that I can send that quickly.

I want to same email in my draft folder in Thunderbird. To do it quickly I want to use Ctrl C and Ctrl V by clicking on the draft email and thus having a copy in the same folder. But this is not happening. Is there any way to do this quickly and easily. I have to send many emails of same template everyday.

Save it as a Template, in your Templates folder. If you don't already have a Templates folder, File|Save As|Template will create it for you.

Double-click a saved message in the Templates folder to open it as a new message.

Other ways to do standard responses:

Use the Clippings or Quicktext add-ons.

Use the Stationery add-on and create your standard messages as stationery documents.
