When I load FF (20.0.1) my Yahoo home page opens normally. But to the left of the Yahoo window another screen also opens which can be anything - Amazon, eBay, Lands End, etc. - from my bookmarks. This is a very new event (yesterday). I can close the secondary window in the normal way If I leave FF for any reason, when I return, the split screen is back. This is annoying and just started happening 2 days ago. I've been using FF for 2 +/- months & never had this problem before. I probably caused it, but I don't know how to fix it Please help me, I'm melting......

Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.
You can check the Properties of a bookmark via the context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac).
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.
