Firefox Touch basic user questions...
I've been using FF Touch for a few days now - and love it! From I will like it even more when it's available in the Windows store so I can install it on my Surface RT. However I have a few basic user questions: 1. The only way I can find to access the Favorites and History is by launching a new tab - is there another way? 2. How can I define Home, Search prefs, etc? 3. Touch doesn't sync with the desktop version; will the production version? 4. Any idea on when this will be available in Windows 8 store? 5. Clear cache?

currently the desktop bookmarks will only show up in metro as suggestions once you start typing in the address bar - this will likely change in a later version of the app as the bookmarking system is getting more sophisticated. also see mbrubeck's reply at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/985166
regarding RT: i think this train has already left. the platform hasn't really gained much traction across the whole industry (maybe those restrictive policies were part of that?), so even if there was a complete turnaround, i'd doubt that mozilla would invest resources to port the browser to windows rt.

hello dschulman, you can access options, change the search provider, clearing private data etc. like on any other metro app by swyping in from the right (or windowskey+c) and hitting the settings icon.
currently you can only access your bookmarks through the new tab page or by starting to type in the addressbar (there you should also get suggestions from your desktop firefox).
as for windows RT - there have been technical hurdles by microsoft which made it impossible for third-party browser vendors to develop their software for windows rt, so firefox isn't available for that platform: http://news.cnet.com/8301-1001_3-57431236-92/microsoft-bans-firefox-on-arm-based-windows-mozilla-says/
Thanks Phillip. So, Bookmarks on the desktop version don't appear in the Touch version - you have to recreate them?
Also, anything us users can do to get MS to hear our voice on browser choice on RT?
