Reading in Pocket on your Computer 1

Opening your saved items

When you open an item in your saves or archive, articles will be displayed in Article View. This distraction-free, easy to read format is designed to deliver the best reading experience in Pocket.

When viewing other items such as PDFs, message board posts and other non-article webpages, they will open in a separate tab in their original form. On iOS, this is called Web View and, on Android, it's called View Original.

Use the item action buttons in the toolbar to take actions on the item you’re viewing: highlight, tag, favorite, archive, delete or share. Click the aA button to open the display options menu. On the far left side, click the arrow button to return to your saves.

You can customize article view to create your ideal reading experience. In the display options menu, you can control font style, text size and background color.

In Pocket Premium, you can customize even further with margin, line height and spacing options, and access 8 additional fonts. Click here to learn more about expanded display options available in Pocket Premium.

Sharing an Item

Click the Share button in the toolbar at the top of the webpage to view your sharing options. You can share to your favorite social network, and recommend the story to your profile and friends that follow you in Pocket.

Click View Original right below the article title to open the link outside of Pocket.

Finally, if you'd like to print an article, click File and then Print… in your browser.
