Recently I am no longer able to pin extensions to the tool bar.

I click on the puzzle piece and get to the list of installed extensions. Next to each extension I click on the three dots to get to the pull down menu, and it only shows remove, report and manage. Within manage there is nothing about pinning.

I went through this with the support group for one of my extension thinking it was an issue with them,, but after troubleshooting with them they say it is an issue with Firefox.

Sam issue in private windows, and same issue in troubleshoot mode.

Firefox 134.0.1 (64bit); Windows 11

I was able to pin extensions in the past. Is this because of a recent automatic Firefox upgrade? Any know solutions? Thanks

This has been working for days, but now it gives me this (see attached pictures)

This happened once another day but then it auto resolved. What should happen is the plugin would load and be playable in the tab. The plugin is coming from the same site, just a different url. Other plugins work, just not these. It doesn't make any sense because the page doesn't use google at all; that's just the login mechanism for the main page, websim. If I am logged into websim and to google this message should never popup, but it does and it blocks me and other users from using the tabs as intended.

I tried clearing cache, cookies, rebooting, etc. I logged into google, etc.

Any of the GRAST tabs do this: https://websim.ai/@Or9

This uri is the tab that tries to auto load: https://websim.ai/@Or9/m-grast You can find the others in pinned projects. I can access the uri just fine, it doesn't ask for login.

Any ideas on how to fix this? It doesn't seem right that Google can block my use of the plugin because I'm not logged in, even when I am actually logged in. Seems like a bug, probably browser side. Can someone figure this out for us?

For the past 2 weeks, I have been unable to open my McAfee True Key in Firefox. I get the following error message: Firefox can’t find the file at moz-extension://ae1ad9a5-b03b-436d-a80c-089f594a3777/pages/dashboard.html#passwords. McAfee says that Firefox is blocking their extension. It works fine in the Microsoft Edge browser. When will I be able to use True Key in Firefox?

Hi! I was trying to download some extensions a bit ago, but I keep getting the same error.

"Download failed. Please check your connection."

My connection seems fine. I can download other things. I tried looking into it on my own and came across some suggestions that it may be the temp folder? But when I try using Win+R and inputting %temp%, it tells me it cannot find \AppData\Local\Temp.

Any ideas on what I can try?

Long-time Firefox user here, with a mega frustrating issue I've had for months now. I keep my default Firefox container for corporate / work related logins, and a Personal container for other stuff. I'm utterly confused as to when clicking a URL in another app will launch the site in the default container, and when it will launch in the Personal container - it really seems random. And there seems no obvious way to control this.

So for example, I have my corporate github account, and my personal one, logged in in these different containers. Launching links from Outlook (work email), more often than not, opens in my personal container, and so none of my work-related github links are clickable. At one stage I'd made it so github links would only ever open in the default container, but then that precludes me from ever using my personal github account in Firefox too, so seems to completely defeat the purpose. But sometimes (infrequently) it launches in the default container! I've verified it has nothing to do with what container tab is currently in focus. Is it just guessing based on how many tabs of a particular container I've opened today??

Besides understanding this problem, is there any way I can control which container is opened when launching links from external apps like Outlook or Slack? Sure, I can copy the link, then open a tab, then paste it in, but FML if I have to do that 50 times a day - I'll need to jump back to Chrome :(
