Printing web pages no longer works.

Hi, I see that Print Preview is gone, but I figured out how to deal with that by setting the scale in Print mode. However, I have noticed just in the past week or so, that no matter how the scale is set, the web page will NOT print properly. I tend to print mainly receipts for online purchases and recipes from various sites. This is now impossible. I've done the troubleshooting and refreshing to no avail - there seem to be no manual print settings for Firefox. I've had to resort to taking a screenshot and pasting it into a blank Word document, which of course shows all the webpage extraneous stuff that I don't want to see. Can you help?

Can you provide me with a url, such as the recipe one, where this issue is being found?

In meantime, if you press the F11 key back and fourth on the corrupted webpage, does they help re-align the webpage elements?

Also, zooming out a few times also has an corrective effect on webpages too - sometimes.

So if you right click on the screen and do a screen print, this is not working for you?

Hi ~dbben, I can do a screenshot onto a Word document and print that way, and it will turn out normal because it's not a webpage. But if I try to print the recipe (or whatever) from the recipe page's print dialogue - which excludes all the crap in the background on the webpage with no editing - then no, it doesn't work. It worked until about a week ago. I could scale Firefox's print screen just the way I wanted and it would print just the way it looked. Now, no matter how I configure it, it comes out giant on the printed paper and cuts all the words off at the right side of the page. I don't know what changed - ? in Firefox (newest version) a week ago, but something did. Firefox's troubleshooting stuff was no help at all re: this. Thank you for your suggestion, though.

Thanks for the additional information. It is indeed odd.

Off the top of my head, i have seen this issue occur. However, its usually at the beginning of the page. In fact, i all of sudden incurred a similar issue on google translate.

Let me review all the posts you have provided and try to recall what i had done to fix this issue. I will get back with you on tomorrow. :-)

The F11 key thing worked!!! I just hit it a bunch of times before printing, and the page printed correctly! I had no idea what that F11 key was for. If this continues to work, you won't hear from me again. Thank you so much for your suggestion/help!  :)
