firefox is using 98 to 100% of cpu all the time

My computer runs slow and sometimes has to be rebooted to continue. When I hit ctrl alt delete it says that Firefox is using 98 % of my cpu. I reloaded Firefox and it worked for a short time but the problem returned.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened
