I can receive messages, but when I try to send a message, while it appears in the "send" box, recipients do not receive them; why?
It is as described above. While I can receive emails, when I send them, while they appear in the Send box as normal, I discover that the recipients haven't received them. This all started when my computer was "involuntarily" upgraded to Windows 10. I have reverted back to Windows 7, but that doesn't appear to have solved the problem.

If the servers Anti Spam software stopped them because for some reason it has blacklisted your IP address or email address possibly because it was reported as sending spam, then the emails would be removed before getting to your wife's account.
So I would suggest you try changing your IP address and see if that helps.

The usual reason is that the recipient's anti-spam or anti-virus system has eaten them.
No, that hasn't solved the problem. I sent 6 emails to my wife this morning and of course she checked the Spam box. Incidentally, I do appear to be able to send emails using my iphone, but not my PC. Please explain!

I'm changing to Google instead!
