How may I delete the contents of the bookmarks Toolbar

For some reason I have all of my bookmarks in the toolbar. I want to wipe that and then sych with another computer and load those bookmark toolbar items into this computer. How do I delete the garbage on system 1 and get sys 1 to synch and load the tool bar with bookmarks from Sys 2 ?

Note that you shouldn't be connected to Sync when you are making massive changes to bookmarks.

Bookmarks are in a Folder called Bookmarks Toolbar in Bookmarks. You would have to do 1 of these, delete each one individually (I think), do not delete Folder.

Or do a install over top which will create a new empty Bookmarks Toolbar folder and the old Bookmarks Toolbar Folder will just be moved down and no longer hooked up and then can delete the whole folder.

As for Sync do not have the 2nd computer running as if it try's to sink will loose that Folder of Bookmarks.

Instead of Syncing : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles export as HTML on 2nd system then put to USB or Email to yourself then go to # 1 and Import the Bookmarks. This way you are in control to get it exactly correct.
