I have had problems with virus programs and repairs. First I got blue screen took it to Best Buy they totally screwed it up. When I got it back they lost my D drive and totally changed the personally of the computer. I could not longer access Firefox with the code and they lost all my bookmarks. I managed to get some of the bookmarks with an older version of Firefox however, I want to use a newer version but apparently I can't take my bookmarks with me in addition I have an old Firefox file on my C drive but can't copy bookmarks without losing the bookmarks I already have installed. To try and put it simply, I want to go to new version of Firefox and take both sets of my bookmarks

After installing the latest Windows 22H2 HOME updates - I cannot run Thunderbird. Blue screen and message - This application will not work on your computer. What to do? MG

Hello, I can’t configure my mail account on Thunderbird because I still have the same error message: Connection failed from imap.bbox.fr server with tobidm username. I don’t understand because I use the same email and password. Is it because of imap? is it because of smtp? Because of this, I can’t read my emails anywhere but on the access provider’s website. Impossible on thunderbird or on my phone. Please help me.

My extensions are not showing up in the firefox browser, on menu bar, tool bar, or bookmarks bar. I am elderly and NOT computer literate. What to do? Using Windows 10.

In Windows 11, the Address Book is accessed via an icon on top left of the TB main page or Alt+2. In Windows 11 is there a similar key combination to view the folders below Local Folders?

Hi. I am trying to import into my new Mac an old Thunderbird profile that was created in a PC, but that I use in my previous Mac. In the past, I have dragged the old profile into the new profile folder, and then used About Profiles under Troubleshooting Information to link to that imported profile and set it as the Default. Now, I click on Create a New Profile and it won't let me link. Also, the Import tool did not work. What am I missing? Thank you!

I just downloaded Thunderbird on my new Mac, asked it to synch with my email and it's done it very imperfectly, missing lots of folders and sub-folders, showing deleted and archived folders (in italics) and so on. It did this on a previous desktop too, where I uninstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled it to try - but failed - to solve the issue. What did I, or it, do wrong and how do I correct it? on Windows 11, my installation of Thunderbird was only partially successful. I created my own installation path, as permitted by the Thunderbird installation instruction which included a "Local Folders" folder as a placeholder for all of my wife mail folders. But after copying all of her mail folder to C:Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\Local Folders - Thunderbird can't find them . The installation app gave no warning of impending doom. Any ideas about what might have gone wrong? I installed Thunderbird several times into slightly different paths - but not the default because I do my own backups and need to know where my files are located. Even though I am the administrator of the system I also got some messages telling me I wasn't an authorized user. Thanks for any tips, ideas or even complete solutions are appreciated. C:Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\Local Folders has all my mail folders from my previous computer - but Thunderbird can't find them - Why? I can send and receive e-mail but none of my folders are available

Hi, I'm having issues because I don't seem to have fully migrated from my old version of Firefox to the new one installed by auto update. The two versions are running in parallel causing some major conflicts and incompatibilities, e.g. my open tabs are not showing in the new version (even though I've tried to update my Profile:default), it's not interfacing with my password manager app, links are opening in the new version. I'd be really grateful to know how I can resolve this (please note that I'm not a technically advanced user).

Since the last update, I can SEND email fine(including attachments), but when I OPEN any email, all the items on the screen show up like editable objects, none of the links work, you can't download or otherwise access any attachment, and I am getting a cryptic message in yellow at the bottom of the window.

I tried downgrading to the last version that worked, but then TB would not allow me to import the profile, as the latest version has obviously done something in the profile, to make it incompatible if you downgrade - I just get a message that you can't import the profile, it was created in a newer version of TB......sod off. ;-)

I have attached images of what I am seeing. I have pixelized my email address etc, for privacy.

Can anyone help?

First of all, I love your product. Have used it for many years.On a club computer trying to put it on my computer and it is endless checking passwords. No matter what I try when installing my yahoo in my or my gmail account

It has verified it with both email providers. The provider show the thunderbird is being used as a client. I have tried this with the email password and without no matter what I do I cannot get past this problem. I have windows ten

Im trying to look t messages in a website im a member if. Says my phone and version if firefox need updated. Both have the latest updates but the error msg is still present.

Just updated Firefox to version 132.1 on my iPhone and now all of my tabs are gone. Going to history and trying to restore previous session doesn’t work and my history does not go back far enough to get my previously opened tabs back. Is there anyway to restore them?

I am currently running Firefox on desktop (128.4.0esr) version.

The last few addons that I have installed are not working properly. Or rather, they work just fine, but when I close Firefox and re-open it later, they seem to fail to actually enable. I must go to the about:addons page, disable the addon, and then re-enable it for it to actually work. If I do not do this, it will not be on my toolbar, and the Extensions sidebar button does not show the addon in the list. It's as if it isn't properly installed.

After reading this post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1420017 I thought maybe my extensions db got corrupted somehow, so I followed their instructions and deleted the extensions.databaseSchema config. And wouldn't you know it, it worked! Once I restarted Firefox, I saw some notifications in the main sidebar menu and was greeted with this: Notifications Once I clicked through them and enabled, everything seemed fine.

However after closing firefox again, the problem comes back. Those exact extensions that I manually approved upon restarting are the ones that are giving me troubles and not enabling properly. An interesting thing I noticed is that these all seem to be extensions that require additional permissions. I enabled the addon and gave them the permissions they requested, so I don't know why they are failing to enable properly on startup.

I want to permanently fix the problem
