The same message keeps downloading and I get the following message---Could not read chrome manifest 'file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Mozilla%20Thunderbird/ex
Problem started spontaneously a few days ago. I can see my emails on Yahoo, but they do not download to Thunderbird.

Hi SPACECADET361, Have you tried deleting the message that keeps downloading, from the yahoo web mail interface? The rest of the emails should download once you remove the problematic one. Hope this helps, Norio
Thanks for your response-That was the first thing I tried and it did not help. Today the problem seemed to resolve itself and the only thing that appeared to happen was that Google updated Chrome and fixed a number of bugs. So maybe that was the problem.
