McAfee has identified BroweFox-FAD as potentially unwanted software is it

McAfee seems to be suggesting that I remove this as it has identified it as a potentially unwanted programme. Is it part of the Firefox download and OK or should I remove it. Also McAfee is saying the same for a program called Multiplug.dll.gen.b. is this also part of Firefox? Thanks for any help you can give on this

BrowseFox-FAD is not a part of the Firefox installation and should be removed. The same applies to the Multiplug.dll.gen.b file.

Many thanks for the reply, really helpful. Can I just get rid of these by clicking remove on McAfee or do I need to use Spy hunter as well? Thanks again

Since McAfee is able to detect the issue, you should be able to remove it by just clicking remove. I attached the websites for informational purpose, not removal instructions.
