Firefox crashes randomly, hangs on exit, crashes in safe mode, crashes on Youtube.
Firefox started giving me a crash report after I had exited the program which was strange. Then I started getting start-up issues where firefox said it was still running and if I tried to close and start it, I got the profile missing error. The task/process will randomly stay active while firefox is closed and if I try ending it I get "access denied". I can use the program for a decent amount of time and it doesn't crash on every youtube video, unless it feels like it and once it crashes once it seems to keep triggering crashes no matter what.
What I've done: Reinstalled firefox multiple times. Deleted and recreated profiles. Updated plugins. Ran with no Plugins. Ran in Safe Mode. Disabled hardware acceleration There are no windows updates There are no driver updates There are no firefox updates
I'm running an antivirus provided by my college called Sophos.
I have plenty of crash reports but this one was the first after creating a new profile and it had been working for a while and then randomly crashed while watching youtube.

Do you have NVidia’s network access manager or Forceware Network Manager software installed? Disable / remove it. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/connectivity-crashing-firefox-43-update
If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

Check everything listed for updates
The last thing I haven't done is check for an update to Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder.
Where do I check for an update for this?
Run the Windows updater. But I don't know if that is checked.
