Unless those site says no to FF there shouldn't be a problem. I use gmail, google search, youtubbers, no facebook but email and had no issue. But make sure you don't have any previous FF56 installed otherwise it will cause problems. You need to remove all previous FF56 or earlier and delete their folder before upgrading and then download the right FF that makes your O/S version-like x86 then FFx86 or x64 then FFx64. That way you avoid pitfalls others been having lately.
Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? Error messages?
I’m not really smart understanding all the web, What is FF56 I read that Firefox is Secure , where google, twitter is not... I really feel I need someone to instruct me every step... Would I need to use Siri’s or safari with Firefox?

What is FF56
Firefox 56 is an older version of Firefox, that will no longer get security updates. The latest Firefox version is Firefox 57.0.4 You can download the latest Firefox version in the language of your choice from here :

When you use the latest version of Firefox, you're safe.
Sites like Facebook and Twitter : it would be your choice to post personal data there. Google is a search engine, which you can set to be your default search engine in the Firefox menu (those three horizontal lines in the uppper right corner) aka: the 3-bar menu. Then you click 'Options' => Search - and set Google to be your default search engine (or another search engine of your choice).
