Can only visit this site in safe-mode
For the last few days I have been having a lot of trouble visiting https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=IQUEBECB4 Unless I am in safe-mode this site will keep loading more and more data until the tab either crashes or my computer completely locks up. Disabling all my add-ons doesn't help. I have to be in safe mode. Wjhile on the site in any other way than safe-mode, I get those warnings at the top of the page that a page which is loading is slowing down my computer. Even if I click stop loading the page, the same process continues until the tab crashes or the computer locks up. Seems to be they have found a way to defeat all the tracking and ad block measures in Firefox. How can I visit the site without starting FF in a terminal in safe-mode?

I see this webpage slowing down my browser on my end too. As Safemode also does these things:
In addition to disabling add-ons (extensions and themes) and turning off hardware acceleration, Firefox Safe Mode disables Enhanced Tracking Protection and Safe Browsing features. Firefox Safe Mode also disables the JavaScript Just-in-time (JIT) compiler and ignores the optional userContent.css and userChrome.css files (if present). The xulstore.json file, which saves customizations to window sizes, toolbar settings and controls, is also ignored; however, any changes stored in modified preferences remain in effect. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode#w_more-information-advanced-users
I'd look at this article to see if turning off enhanced tracking protection for the site actually resolves this issue: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop#w_what-to-do-if-a-site-seems-broken
Does the Web Console on Network Monitor show any detail about what is using up this memory ?

Does if has effect if you open the page in a New Private Window ?
You can also check the Firefox Task Manager (about:performance) and about:memory pages.
I opened the web console and went to the site with normal tracking turned on.
Unhandled promise rejection InternalError: "too much recursion"
I get several of these "too much recursion" until the tab crashes.

And it just goes on and on. This is getting crazy. Maybe I'll just restrict visits to that site to Google-Chrome.
I appreciate all the people here trying to help but I could seeming;y spend my day going down rabbit holes.
This is written from Chrome as it's still the default browser on my system.

Firefox safe-mode is the only way I can visit the site. Even with all trackers etc turned off in preferences.
See my post to cor-el for more info.
You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
You don't get the yellow banner when you use this link :
You'll see a spinning wheel; just click on the "Full Forecast" button
and then choose the location.

Yes, I know that. But the link to the site I want works everywhere except in Firefox. Seems they have found a way to outfox Firefox...but not Chrome. Not that Chrome is the perfect browser either.
I run a memory monitor in my taskbar and I can watch the consumption in Firefox go up second by second until the tab crashes or my computer locks up.
I just noticed that using my link only works without any problems untill
after you've chosen your location; then the yellow banner shows up .... :(
Cor-el's last suggestion might be worth a try.

Did that. No change. This one seems unsolvable. Maybe Firefox has over-reached with all it tracking etc protections ?? I definitely don't like Chrome's tracking and storing of info...but with this site in particular I seem to have no other choice.
