On Mac OS, Cmd+? AKA Cmd+Shift+/ shortcut to search through the menu does not work

On Mac OS, Cmd+? AKA Cmd+Shift+/ (on a US keyboard, at least, these are the same) is the standard shortcut to open a search bar inside the Help menu that searches through the commands in the menu. See attached screenshot.

As you can see, Firefox seems to bind it to "Get Help" (which is wrong for Mac OS).

Even worse, if you actually press Cmd+?, the Help menu flashes open and closed, and nothing happens. If you press Cmd+? twice in rapid succession, the "Get Help" command executes.

Is this a bug? Is there a way around this?

I am using Firefox 132.0.1 (aarch64) on Mac OS Sonoma 14.7.1.

For reference, https://superuser.com/questions/201798/how-do-i-make-cmd-work-the-native-way-with-firefox-for-mac claims this was fixed in Firefox 4 many years ago.

It's also possible to change the Mac OS shortcut in the Mac OS Settings -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> App Shortcuts, but I'd rather not.
