bookmarks
I cannot grasp why bookmarks are so complicated in firefox.
I just want to bookmark a site. They have: bookmarks. tags "unsorted bookmarks" which, by the way, when I go to look for can NEVER FIND and I put important pages I have to open the whole thing. HOW IN THE WORLD does one just bookmark a page and keep it simple. I know how to create a folder, but I DO NOT want it in the "unsorted" because thhen I'll never find it when clicking bookmarks. This is not a good system firefox has created.

I agree, the bookmarks system is over complicated for the intelligence level of the vast majority of its' users, but it's been like that for 2 1/2 years now.
You need to save new bookmarks to the Bookmarks Menu folder, so you can find them in the Bookmarks Menubar drop-down - or view your bookmarks in the Bookmarks Sidebar, which can be opened using {Ctrl + B} or from View > Sidebar > Bookmarks. The "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder is available in the Sidebar view, at the bottom of that listing.
- If you click the star in the location bar then the page will be bookmarked in the "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder and the star turns yellow (blue on Mac) to show that.
- You can see the Unsorted Bookmarks folder in the sidebar and the Library, but not in the Bookmarks menu.
- If you use "Bookmarks > Bookmark This Page" (Ctrl+D) then the bookmark will go to the Bookmarks Menu folder (you need to confirm that).
- You can click the star at the right end of the location bar once to bookmark the current site and click the highlighted star a second time to open the "Edit This Bookmark" window and move the bookmark to another folder or edit the name.
- If the URL in the location bar is bookmarked (star at the far right end is yellow/blue) then you can click the star or use the Bookmark menu item (Bookmark This Page, (Ctrl+D) to edit the properties of the bookmark (name, location, folder) and move it to another folder or remove the bookmark.
- You can click the Remove button in the "Edit This Bookmark" window to remove a bookmark.
- You can click the arrow at the far right of the Folder field in the "Edit This Bookmark" window to access the complete folder list. That full folder list also opens if you click the drop marker in the Folder field and select the "Choose" item. That window also has a button to create a "New Folder" (look for a button with "New Folder" or a "+" under the folder list).
IT'S GOT NOT A DAMN THING TO DO WITH INTELLIGENCE.
THIS METHOD IS CUMBERSOME, COUNTER-INTUITIVE, AND IT IS THIS WAY BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO DEISGN IT JUST DO'T HAVE ENOUGH TO DO. THEY TINKER AND PEOLE WHO HAVE NOT A DMAN THING TO DO UNLIKE ME JUST SPEND SO MUCH TIMEMAKING A BITCH OUT OF WHAT OUGHT TO BE STREAMLINED. ANOTHER REASON FOR GOING BACK IT IE
I downloaded recent version of Firefox, not your beta or whatever, your regular one. After that, even if I did not bookmark a site, firefox is bookmarking on its own. If I try to remove/delete the book mark, its not getting deleted. I followed your instructions from your 'HELP' menu, but to no result.
