The problem was that Firefox 6 blacklists the VMWare 3.1.3 video driver. You will want to keep this post.
First, in Firefox 6.0 open: about:support
At the bottom of the page look to see a Graphics section. Mine had: Adapter DescriptionVMware SVGA 3D (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM) Vendor ID15ad Device ID0405 Adapter RAM0 Adapter Driversvm3dum vm3dgl Driver Version7.14.1.50 Driver Date4-18-2011 Direct2D EnabledBlocked for your graphics card because of unresolved driver issues. DirectWrite Enabledfalse (6.1.7601.17563) ClearType Parameters ClearType parameters not found WebGL RendererGoogle Inc. -- ANGLE -- OpenGL ES 2.0 (ANGLE 0.0.0.686) GPU Accelerated Windows0/1. Blocked for your graphics card because of unresolved driver issues.
If the user has a blocked driver, then open: about:config Then double click on: webgl.force-enabled=false This will change it to: webgl.force-enabled=true
Restart Firefox and WebGL will work.
