blank options page
When I refreshed I lost ALL my bookmarks - you should WARN about that! After HUNTING the help pages I found how to restore these - you should make that EASY TO FIND! I reinstalled FF and restored the Bookmarks - GREAT! But NOW on the 'Options' Page the boxes etc are there ... BUT NO TEXT (Blank) SO I cant see what the setting are!! Please advise.

Hi, as Volunteer Support I understand what you mean by there should be warnings. Am glad you found things and got it sorted. Sounds like something has gone wrong in the install so I would like you to do this please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.1 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
IMO, the problem with the Refresh feature in Firefox is that there is no progress indicator to let the user know that Refresh is running, leaving the user possibly thinking that Firefox is "hung up" and quit working.
Refresh ran for 4 to 5 minutes when I first used it, and I "killed the process" assuming that it was "hung up". My data went "poof", it was gone completely. Second run of Refresh a few minutes later letting it run to completion took as long, even with no data to "refresh". Fortunately I had backed up my Profile before using Refresh as a precaution.
Subsequent tests with Refresh showed no problems with lost data and the usual 4 to 5 minutes for completion; but it's aggravating to not be shown the progress of the Refresh progress. Firefox does show progress for installation of updates upon restart, and on my PC that process is completed in like 15 seconds meaning the progress meter barely shows but for a few seconds.
As far as the broken Options page, I suspect that may be related to 'killing' the Refresh and Firefox itself got broken. As advised, reinstalling Firefox using the full 'off-line' installer package is recommended.
