T'bird is up and running. I'm doing some other work, probably with a web browser. The lower right area shows a message that I have new e-mail. Gives subject line, all normal.

But it never shows up in the inbox!

I have tried shutting down T'bird and restarting. Doesn't help.

Any help much appreciated. i do support T'bird development annually.

Try checking the junk folder or trash folder. I recall receiving such notices in the past for messages that were not where I expected.

Nope, not in trash. And I don't show a junk folder. Should I?

Even if they were in a different folder, how do I get things to show up in my inbox again??
