How do I prevent people from downloading/accessing download folder?

I have siblings that use my computer. I have a program that only allows them to access certain programs and files. This way, they can't access my files or play games I don't want them to play.

That being said, they found a work around. They open up firefox and access the downloads folder from there. They can now access everything.

How do I prevent them from accessing downloads?

Where is your Downloads folder that Firefox uses? By default, Firefox uses a Downloads folder that is in your User account folders in Windows. If you change that location to a location that is shared by all Users on that computer, anyone could have access to it.

Set up a separate Logon User Account for your siblings when they are using your computer. Then they won't be able to access your User account files thru Firefox or any other application.

Or you can zip it or rar the folder and password protect it but they can not download then or can move all of your stuff out to a new folder and zip/rar that one.
