Selecting Location Bar URI

I use two systems, one at work and another at home, they both are Windows XP SP3.

At work, when I click once on the location bar contents, the entire URI is selected. However, at home, it takes multiple clicks to select the entire line. Is there a config option I can tweak or a registry hack? My preference is single click to select the entire line.

Chosen solution

There are two prefs available to set that behavior:

I prefer to select all with a double click, so I can use a single click to set the cursor at a specific position if I want to make changes or copy part of the URL.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Many thanks. That's exactly what I'm looking for.
