Firefox hotkeys do not function correctly or at all when first loading a page. What is going on?
When i open a video in youtube the hotkeys do not function until i switch to another tab and then back again. Also i can't use the kotkeys to change the volume at all while i am tabbed into firefox.

Hotkeys for the Firefox user interface won't work if a plugin like the Flash player has focus and you will have to click elsewhere outside the plugin to have them work again.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

For what?
so i can determine what may be causing an error in firefox.
what kinf of updates do you mean? addons?
service packs, programs, addons (like flash)
isnt it in the system data i supplied? Well windows 7 sp1, and the adode flash programs. The rest is shown in the link labeled more system details.
could have something to do with java. try reinstall that.
Having the same problem as well. I'm not sure if it was the firefox 13.0.1 update or the flash player update within the past week, but the FF hotkeys stopped working when ever I would click something inside a video player. I typically use the CTRL+page up/page down to move between tabs and ALT+arrow left/right to move back and forward on a page with the extra buttons on my mouse. Doing anything with a video player stops the hotkeys and I will to click on another tab to get the hotkeys working.
Any ideas?
sorry, im dry.
is it the flash player?
