Since I updated Firefox to 29.0.1 (on Windows 7 64-bit), the Reload icon has disappeared from my toolbar, and the Customize panel doesn't seem to offer it. Or a way to insert a vertical separator bar, though the existing ones can be moved around. I don't see Reload on the menus either, though F5 seems to do it.

The Reload icon is affixed to the right end of the Location Bar - aka Address Bar. If you don't see it there. one of your installed extensions may be hiding it.
Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode

Unlike earlier versions of Firefox the Reload button can't be moved or separated from the Stop Button -- without using an extension to restore the previous code which allowed that combo button to be moved and mad into two separate buttons.

I see the reload icon in the location bar; what happened was that the new release moved it and I failed to notice its new home. Thanks for your help. I'm comfortable with it being a single button, and since this is a support forum I won't express my opinion on having these things moved around on me without notice. The Classic Theme Restorer add-on looks very promising; thanks for that pointer too!
