I tried restarting thunderbird after restoring from a backup (I had a disk issue). The profile is there in .thunderbird, with all the account information and local folders, but for some reason thunderbird can't find it. I tried deleting the cache, pointing the import wizard at a copy of the original profile -- all without any success. I can see the folders there with their data, and the account information. Why is thunderbird 128.6.0esr ignoring its data?

On Thunderbird on macOS, I am trying to use a Security Device to client certificates made available by the OS for TLS authentication to IMAP servers and S/MIME signing and encryption. Under Security Devices, there is no Security Device that provides this functionality so in Security Devices I click Load and Browse... and select /Applications/Thunderbird.app/Contents/MacOS/libosclientcerts.dylib to add the appropriate security device. However, when I click okay, I get "Alert" "Unable to add module" . What am I doing wrong?

I also use libosclientcerts.dylib in Firefox just fine. Why is it not working in Thunderbird?

I am on a web page and right click & select "View Page Source" that then opens in a NEW TAB with the source code. Then CTL F and select the string "mp3" to find. This then takes me to a position 142 characters to the right of the actual "mp3" location. Skipping back to actual location the "mp3" now appears as "blank". Very strange!!

135.0.1 not compatible with min version >= 135.0 max version <=135.0

Also, I am being advised to reinstall Firefox. Do I need to uninstall Firefox first?

Websites ask me to turn off my ad blocker but I don't have one that I can see. Also YouTube does not open on FIrefox, which is probably being caused by the same issue. Thank you for your help.

I have my tabs setting to automatically close in one day. When I open Firefox I will have lots of tabs still open after the one day mark. I am having to go in and manually close all tabs. Is there a reason there not closing automatically?

2 Days ago, I stopped receiving all emails into my 5 inboxes with Thunderbird on Windows 11 desktop.

Tried some troubleshhoting including updating to the latest version of Thunderbird version 128.7.1esr (64-bit) on desktop for Windows 11, and turning VPN off and on.

Would appreciate any troubleshooting ideas to get emails flowing again.

Hi, Got a new desktop and transferred my old firefox bookmarks to it. They used to have a light background (I have them on the sidebar) but now it's dark with white font.

How can I change it back to light?

dunno if this is the right board, but here goes...

I discovered a bug with Firefox and the pen/touchscreen on my lenovo X1 tablet.

Using the touchscreen, move the map, map works as it should. Can pinch to zoom, ect.

Switch to the pen, map works with pen.

Touch the screen again and Google maps doesn't respond to touchscreen anymore, only the pen, and refresh does not fix it. I have to close and re-open maps in a new tab.

In chrome, this does not happen. Only in Firefox.
