I downloaded a PDF and used Firefox to view the file. I'm trying to find key words in the PDF and I always get phrase not found. As a test I inputted a word I found in the document but find in page stated phrase not found. What am I doing wrong? I remember that I have used that feature in the past and it worked.

For a few months, and I've seen this happen randomly over the last 5-10 years - pressing enter doesn't work, and sometimes dragging a new link into the empty tab space next to the tabs creates a new tab with the URL in the URL box, but not 'opened'

Does firefox have some issue with loading a web page?

I use ublock origin on default settings, and violent-monkey and stylish for scripting.. but would that disable searching google from a new tab?

I go in and set the Search engine to DuckDuckGo but it defaults back to Google every time I start the app again. Firefox 128.6.0esr macOS 14.7.2.

Will return to my previous browser if FF doesn't allow my choice of Search engine.

Hi. I had an issue with my wifi router yesterday and needed to reset it a couple of times. It's been fine for everything but using Firefox on my Macbook. 90% of the time, it doesn't work. I will reset the computer's connection to my WiFi, and it will load one or two tabs, but then it will stop working. The error I get is a he "Hmm. We're having trouble finding that site" error.

I reset my computer. Nada. Reset Firefox. Nada. I got rid of Hardware Acceleration. Nada. Chrome works on my laptop and Firefox works on my other devices so I do think it must be an issue with Firefox. Does anyone have any idea what I should do.
