I have changed my psw in my yahoo account and thunderbird does not recongnize it and I am not able to make thunderbird accept the new psw
When I try to access thunderbird it asks me to insert a psw. Since I have just changed it in my email account yahoo.com, I put the new psw in thunderbird in order to access my email account, but it does not work. I have changed several times my psw but this is the first time it does not work..

you will probably need to enable less secure apps in your yahoo settings on the web site. Apparently they have followed Google in this madness.

Are you using Yahoo 2-step authentication?
No, I simply forgot my previous psw and I changed it..
