incorrect time on TV listings
Using Firefox (including public release, beta, and "Nightly" versions, one TV listings site constantly reads the wrong time from my system. This site works perfectly on other browsers (Chrome, Edge, and Explorer, and shows the correct time. Firefox works perfectly on TVGuide and TV.com, but Zap2it.com always come up showing a time 1 hour earlier than the correct current time.
My computer clock is set correctly, as is the time zone (Eastern).
The fact that three other browsers show the correct time for this site tells me that somehow Firefox is incorrectly reading the current time from my OS. Searching the archives only showed one reference to a similar issue but not this one specifically.
Thanks for any help! Dave

I use Zap2it for tv listings though I do not have an account there. It was working fine in giving listing for present time however it did not change since the spring daylight savings so it is a hour off for me also.

Thanks for the reply James! I remember seeing this issue when the time changed, but after a week or so it "fixed itself", for lack of a better term! But today, when all the other browsers showed the correct time, I kinda figured it was time to get a second (or even third! opinion!
Thanks! Dave
Hi I use the same place and my settings are correct. Sometime I have noticed if redo the zip code/Postal Code and provider it has changed with the updated cookies from the info.
This is a interesting site http://www.airdates.tv/ for fact you can click a show and highlight to what you want it to mean, say 1 colour for download, 1 for watch, and another to record. So you can check the day then go to zap2it and do what you need from the info. Note not all shows are listed. But is worth using in my humble opinion.
I just got off of http://zap2it.com/ It displayed properly for me (Connecticut)
The story of my life! If I have a problem, chances are I'm either the only one to have it, or there is one other person who has it!
Thanks for the replies, folks! At least this time it's only a minor inconvenience lol!!
