Downloading Firefox gives message insufficient resource
Trying to download Firefox on a brand new laptop (detail below) but get message insufficient resource. Desperate to get it up and running and not a fan of Microsoft edge.
Only things installed so far in addition to the standard software that came on the laptop are Avira Skype Nothing else has been saved to the laptop (ie photos, music etc)
Lenovo Ideapad 100S HD Laptop - (Intel Atom Z3735, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB HDD, Intel HD Graphics Card, Windows 10) + 32 GB Micro SD card
Chosen solution
At what point do you get the error message?
The standard download of Firefox is a small file that connects back to Mozilla for a larger file. Can you download and save that "stub" installer successfully? Does the problem occur when you run the stub installer? Or does the problem occur after that when Firefox is installing? Or when you first try to run Firefox.
If the stub installer doesn't run well, you can download a full ("offline") installer from the following page (scroll down to your preferred language):
https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
For broadest compatibility, choose the 32-bit version, even if you have 64-bit Windows.
