Hi. I'm not very techy so bear with me! I always have a signature on my Yahoo email which is a link to my holiday home for potential guests. I changed the URL from a website listing to my own new web site. Now the website address will not 'highlight' so it can be clicked on for access. I have also tried going back to the previous address & that won't work now either. Neither will it work in the body of the email. Yahoo don't seem to think it's their problem & the only difference is that originally the signature was set up in IE & now I use FF 3.6.8.

The text editor is the text area that you use on the webmail (Yahoo, Hotmail) website to create a new mail.
You can compare that with the Post new message text area that you use to create a new post on this forum.
Just above the text area that you use to enter the message text there is usually a button bar with buttons that allows some text formatting like Bold and Italic and can also include a button to make a clickable hyperlink.
Check the tooltip of each button by hovering with the mouse over each button.

Is there any Firefox extension or Greasemonkey script that can give FF the same functionality as IE on this?

Using that button to create each clickable link manually seems a bad workaround; sometimes I paste long lists of links in emails... I imagine I'm not the only one who ever does multiple links.
