probably an extension is the problem, see: Unresponsive Script Warning
if the above does not solve the issue try to Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems (The reset feature works by creating a new profile folder for you while saving your essential information)

I have a laptop every time I try to go on to a site it freezes using Firefox .it sayswarning unresponsive script everything is up to date even in the updated 18.0 version . IT takes a long time to load , if I go to any site in Firefox it freezes what to do from here. I have tried all the necessary measures that wast told to do but the problem still persist
Are there any extensions installed and enabled?
Does Firefox actually crash and you get the crash reporter or does Firefox only hangs and is unresponsive?
HI Same is happening to me I get both: the unresponsive script as well as random crashes. The crashes are every other time I go to do something on the web. It's happening on almost every page I open as well as my yahoo mail. And my computer is slow. It doesn't catch up when I write and type.
